Lily

I never would have pictured myself being one of "those people" who treats their dog like a child, but it turns out I am one of "those people." I rushed home from work today, after a frantic call from the kids, to take Lily, our Weimaraner, to the vet. The kids had discovered an injury that needed to be checked out. She is going to be fine after some antibiotics, but I had that same feeling of wondering if i could have done something to prevent it and wanting to keep her from being in pain--just like when one of my children is sick or hurt. This post is just to say we love you, Lily! Here's a pic of her wearing a tshirt so she won't scratch at her wound. Such a cutie.
